Princess pier in Torquay was completely devoid of fish today. Not a single person along the pier caught anything between 10am and 4pm. Tide was right, wind direction was right, plenty of live food for them in the water, just no fish or even bites. Still enjoyed it 🙂 I had a float on one rod, feathers on the other. The others fishing had those […]
Only 3 people were at Hopes Nose when I drove past a few minutes ago. If you fancied fishing there this might be the right day for it! 🙂 Here is my fishing guide for Hopes Nose.
Still hearing good reports from Babbacombe Pier in Torquay. Lots of mackerel. garfish etc being caught. I drove by Hopes Nose yesterday and once again it was packed. In all my years I have never seen Hopes Nose so busy so often…

A friend of mine went fishing off Brixham breakwater yesterday afternoon. It was fairly quiet but he did manage to get a number of small mackerel feathering. Princess Pier in Torquay is still pretty quiet with little news coming from there. Hopes Nose has been producing some fish including wrasse and mackerel. Wreck fishing is still doing really well from the reports I’m seeing on […]
Tried fishing Princess pier in Torquay yesterday but the wind was blowing pretty hard. No-one had a single bite while we were there. We packed up within 30 minutes when my daughter had had enough 🙂
